Inland Refractories has entered into a technological and marketing agreement to represent Ropczyce refractory products into the US market. Focus will primarily be in the RH degasser products and gas purging systems for steel ladles. Ropczyce is a high quality refractory manufacturer in Europe that supplies products throughout their market.

At the AIST 2006 Conference in Cleveland, Ohio Inland Refractories, Whetstone Technologies and Republic Engineered presented a paper “The Introduction and Implementation of Ceramite into Republic Engineered Products- Lorain Ohio Blast Furnace over the last Two Years.” The paper presents a refractory problem in the material handling area with recommended improvements and documented results.
